Rabbi Shalom Baum addresses 8th Grade

As part of our preparations for Yom HaKippurim, our 8th graders had the privilege to hear a shiur this week from Rabbi Shalom Baum, Rabbi of Keter Torah in Teaneck. Rabbi Baum, who has graciously given of his time on several occasions over the past few years, spoke with our students about issues relating to teshuva, notably the question of whether or not one can do partial teshuva.

Rabbi Baum's shiur was the kickoff of this year's guest lecture series for our students. This program aims to expose our students to the many talmidei chachamim who live in our community and to help them appreciate that there is a seamless flow between their schools and their communities - and that both are vital and integral parts of their growth and development as bnei and bnot Torah.
