Our first day of Color War has been wonderful - full of high energy, competitive events, and lots of creativity. This afternoon featured our first ever Tanach Scavenger Hunt, in which teams of 3 students per team followed clues that were based on פסוקים all around Tanach to find more clues that were hidden around the building. Students had to work out that שומר ישראל was a reference to our security guard, Boris, and that לכל זמן ועת לכל חפץ should lead them to the big Hebrew clock in the cafeteria. This afternoon also saw the boys' and girls' Ga-Ga competitions, as well as girls' basketball.
Meanwhile, each team is hard at work on their banners, their flags (it is an Olympic theme, after all), their powerpoint presentations, and their videos. Additionally, every team has representatives working on their part of the Torah versus Torah U'Madda debate (more on that tomorrow).
The Middle School wings of the building are alive in color and bursting with enthusiasm! Make sure to ask your children about all of the many exciting moments that they have had today.
