Color War 2009 has broken out! Our students are currently breaking into their 8 teams and planning out their activities for the next three days.This year, in honor of the schoolwide theme of the Olympics and in honor of the upcoming holiday of Chanukah, our teams are organized around a Jews versus Greeks theme. Four teams represent the mitzvot that the Greeks forbade the Jews to keep (Shabbat, Rosh Chodesh, Brit Mila, Talmud Torah) and four teams represent the glory that was Ancient Greece (Literature, Architecture, Olympics, and Democracy).
