What a day! The second day of Color War has seen non-stop action, from our many morning activities, to this afternoon's competitions. The afternoon was kicked off by Name That Tune, which this year features teams of teachers and students. Following that was our first-ever Color War debate. As our overarching theme for Color War features four teams with Jewish themes and four with Greek themes, the teams split into two larger debate teams, with the Jewish side arguing for a life of studying only Torah, and the Greek side taking the position of a life of Torah U'Madda. After many well-reasoned statements, arguments and rebuttals, the Torah U'Madda side just barely squeaked by with the victory.
The afternoon featured our first-ever football tournament, which benefitted greatly from the fabulous weather, as well as bingo, taboo, and the girls' 3-on-3 basketball tournament. After our second set of Divrei Torah, our student davened mincha and headed home, looking ahead to the major presentations during tomorrow's final day.
