The Knowledge Master Open is a challenging 200 question contest of over 2 hours in duration where teams from schools across America compete with each other. Questions range from all aspects of the General Studies curriculum, including history, math, science, English reading and grammar, art, government and law. Fifty students from our seventh and eighth grade competed last month in this contest led by captain Leo Metzger.
Out of 577 teams competing in the entire country, Yavneh placed 140th, which was in the top 24% of all schools nationwide. Only 4 right questions separated our students from placing in the top 100. In New Jersey, Yavneh placed 7th out of 37 teams, which placed us in the top 18% statewide. Congratulation to all of our students, and their coach Mr. Goldberg, for a job well done!
