Our annual December 25th Yom Iyun was a smashing success! Taking advantage of a day off and a late minyan, many of our parents joined us for a rousing tefilla, a delicious breakfast, and an inspiring shiur.Our guest speaker this year was Rabbi Dr. Jonathan Rosenblatt, Senior Rabbi at the Riverdale Jewish Center and a Rabbi who is known for his ability to connect with and educate people of all ages. Rabbi Rosenblatt did not disappoint, speaking on the topic of "When Siblings Grow Up," a shiur that focused on the relationship between Kayin and Hevel andYoseif and his brothers, and aspecifically with regard to how the nature of their childhood relationship had ramifications for them as adults.
We would like to thank Rabbi Rosenblatt for his Torah and his humor. We would also like to thank our maintenance men who gave of their time on their holiday to help set up for the program today.
